University of Virginia Hospital Alternative Therapies The Center for the Study of Complementary and Alternative Therapies (CSCAT) at the University of Virginia was established in 1995 as one of the original NIH-funded centers to stimulate research in complementary and alternative medicine.
University of Virginia Library FOURTEEN libraries serve the University of Virginia ’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. They are open to any resident of the state of Virginia .
PARKS & RECREATION: When residents in the Charlottesville-Albemarle area are polled, “outdoor recreation” is consistently listed at the top of “interests.” There are currently over 30 area parks maintained individually & jointly by the City of Charlottesville and County of Albemarle .
